Dr. Satish Poddar established Reagan Medical Center in 1999 with the vision of providing exceptional healthcare with a high level of compassion at an affordable price in order to benefit our entire community. He has worked diligently to serve our community with innovative healthcare and cutting-edge technology. Reagan Medical was one of the first few practices to implement Electronic Medical records in 1999. Through his hard work and dedication, Reagan Medical has grown to five locations: Lawrenceville Grayson, Johns Creek, Suwanee, and Dacula. Under Dr. Poddar’s leadership, Reagan Medical Center has also advanced to diagnostics, offering MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammogram, and Nuclear testing, at affordable prices.

Dr. Poddar did his medical school and residency in Orthopedic in India before he moved to US.

Dr. Poddar is originally from Nagpur, India where he completed his orthopedic training. He then moved to US, and completed his residency in internal medicine at Christ Hospital, OakLawn IL, affiliated with Rush University. After working in LA (Lower Alabama), he made Atlanta, Georgia, his home. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and been in practice over 25 years. Dr. Poddar is committed to advancing and developing new techniques to improve our community’s quality of living by providing excellent healthcare from adolescents to geriatrics.

A devoted husband and father who loves spending time with his wife and sons, he enjoys reading, yoga and practices healthy living through organic and natural foods. He continues to find time to be an active member of his community. As a philanthropist, Dr. Poddar has been involved in numerous endeavors that have successfully reached people far and wide.
