Meet Kat Knight, PA-C

Kathleen “Kat” Knight, PA-C, is a compassionate physician assistant dedicated to providing patient centered, evidence based care at Reagan Medical Center. She is committed to building meaningful relationships with her patients while helping individuals and families achieve their long term health goals.

Originally from San Gabriel, California, Kat earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Human Biology from Chapman University in Orange, California. During her undergraduate years, she competed on the university’s equestrian team, worked at the campus gymnasium, and volunteered at a therapeutic horseback riding facility serving children with disabilities.

Kat’s healthcare journey began as an emergency room volunteer before becoming an EMT, physical therapy aide, and medical assistant in both orthopedic and primary care settings. In 2021, she participated in an international medical aid program in Africa, where she spent a month shadowing and assisting healthcare professionals across a variety of medical specialties. These experiences strengthened her passion for medicine and caring for patients from diverse backgrounds.

She moved to Georgia in 2022 to attend Emory University, where she earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Kat enjoys caring for patients of all ages and believes in creating a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their healthcare journey.

Outside of medicine, Kat enjoys spending time with her fiancé, two cats, and dog. A lifelong animal lover, she has a passion for horseback riding and enjoys visiting the beach whenever she can. Her optimistic personality and genuine enthusiasm for connecting with others help her build lasting relationships with her patients and colleagues alike.
