How does our Weight Loss Program work*?

Initial Consultation: During your initial consultation, one of our medical professionals will assess your comprehensive health and discuss your weight loss goals.

Customized Weight Loss Plan: Based on your initial health assessment, you and your provider will create a personalized Semaglutide or Tirzepatide weight loss program for you. This includes weight loss medicine, diet and exercise recommendations that fit your lifestyle and physical abilities. Our programs are designed to optimize your success.

Medication Regimen: Our weight loss program includes Semaglutide or Tirzepatide medications, which can be conveniently self-administered by the patient at home on a weekly basis for 8-10 weeks.

Ongoing Monitoring and Adjustment: Every 8-10 weeks, during your follow-up visit, your provider will assess your progress and adjust your treatment plan as needed for optimal results.

*Results may vary. Some individuals might not see significant weight loss or could experience side effects affecting medication tolerance.

 Is it possible to obtain weight loss medication through a televisit?

Yes, Reagan Medical provides weight loss medications through office visits, as well as televisits. If initial or follow-up lab work is necessary for starting or monitoring the medication, you may need to visit the office periodically. However, if you provide us with recent lab results, we can use those for monitoring purposes instead.

Semaglutide or Tirzepatide Warning: 

• These medications have been linked to thyroid cancer in some animal studies, though it is not yet clear if this risk extends to humans. If thyroid cancer occurs, it can be serious if not detected and treated promptly. Contact your provider immediately if you experience a neck mass, difficulty breathing or swallowing, or persistent hoarseness.
• Do not use these medications if you have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2), or if you or a family member have a history of thyroid cancer.
